Application Process

Thank you for your interest in our Housing Graduate Assistantships at the University of Arizona.

The Committee is excited about this year's process. We will begin reviewing applications soon and will continue until all positions are filled. At this time, we are anticipating one opening and are excited to consider your application for our Graduate Resident Assistant position.

Our team will review your application and begin the process when your application is complete.

To apply for a GRA position for the 2024-25 academic year with a start date of June 1, 2024:

  • Please submit your application here.
  • When submitting your application using the above link, you will be asked:
    • The best email to contact you
    • A phone number to contact you
    • Your current UA Graduate Program Status for Fall 2024. (Example: In the process of submitting an application, Submitted application, Accepted into a Graduate program, Enrolled in a Graduate program)
    • List of three professional references with contact information.
  • Send a copy of your resume and cover letter via email to HSG-GASearch@arizona.edu.

Please note that all offers are contingent upon the candidate's admission to a graduate program at the University of Arizona. It is advantageous for you, as a candidate, to apply to the graduate program of your choice as quickly as possible.

Housing GAs are live-in professionals and assigned a two-bedroom fully furnished apartment in La Aldea Graduate Housing rent-free as part of your compensation. A live-in partner/guest is welcome.

 

Meal Plan

Housing GAs receive $1,500 CatCa$h at the beginning of the contract start date and Spring semester.

As a Housing Graduate Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the experience of our residents. You will work directly with students as a supervisor, advisor, and mentor. This position will also provide you a foundation for your own growth and development as a new professional as you begin your professional journey. You will gain experience in event management, budgeting, conduct and crisis response all while being supported by an amazing group of peers.
